First Weekend

Saturday night was spent at Granny and PaPa's house because BoBo had a date with a boy. Ashy wanted to know "Why?" and made sure to tell BoBo not to give any of his kisses away (prompted by his PaPa, of course!). Sunday went fairly smoothly, although Ashton got a little teary-eyed when Granny and PaPa left for church. Playing with BoBo's big Pilates ball and watching Mickey Mouse helped take his mind off of their leaving. BoBo and Ashton made it to Northside in plenty of time for Sunday School, and when he got to NBC, Ashton was excited to see Aunt Denise and Uncle Andy - withHannah and Hailey, of course! When BoBo went to pick him up after church, Ashton literally leaped into her arms.

For lunch, BoBo and Ashton went to Puleo's with Granny and PaPa. Ashton was kind of sleepy, but managed to eat a little chicken, some fries (with LOTS of ketchup!), some of BoBo's spaghetti, AND most of an ice cream sundae - Granny helped him finish it off. After lunch, everyone went to Ashton's house to check on the animals, and then back to PaPa's house for a nap and to pack BoBo's stuff.

After PaPa and Granny headed to church, BoBo and Ashton got ready to go to Ashy's house - with a quick stop at WalMart for some essentials: BoBo has to have her yogurt and granola. Ashton "tan't walk" - so got the luxury carry service. He had to go to the potty, but didn't want to abandon HIS buggy, even though it was empty. BoBo finally convinced him it would be okay outside while he did his business, but he was anxious to reclaim it!

Ashton "helped" unload BoBo's car at his house, and then got the flashlight so he could show BoBo where Reagan's food bowl was. BoBo fixed Ashton a PB&J sandwich with cheetohs, and he had a bite or two of her leftover pizza, too. He unrolled BoBo's Scooby yoga mat and pretended he was doing exercises like his BoBo does. He had to show BoBo his room, and the two played cars on her yoga mat in the den. After reading lots of stories, brushing teeth, and snuggling with stuffed Bernard, BoBo attempted to get Ashton to bed. Ashton listened to his nighttime prayers with Mommy & Daddy several times, kissed their pictures on BoBo's phone, but wouldn't lay down without his BoBo - "I want you, BoBo, I want you". So, after brushing teeth and washing her face, BoBo prepared to go to bed in Ashton's twin bed.
